WOW... what a week it has been!! In the last week or so, we have been to 3 cities and walked AT LEAST 25 miles!! For Christmas, our parents decided that as long as we were going to California for SAS that we might as well go to Disneyland and Universal too! So on the 27th, we flew to LA and met our grandparents at a hotel. The next morning, we woke up bright and early to drive to Universal! It was a lot of fun and we were all so excited to see the Hogwarts castle & Hogsmeade!! (village and castle in Harry Potter books) Even though they were long waits, they rides were amazing!! They were 3D and had super cool effects! We rode -- Harry potter, Transformers, Despicable Me, and a Studio Tour.
The day afterwards, we drove to Anaheim, California so we could go to Disneyland. We got there mid-afternoon and we ended up going for the afternoon. We rode a bunch of rides. My favorite that night was Thunder Mountain. From certain points in the ride, we could see the lit up Sleeping Beauty castle and "It's a Small World." Over the next two days, we went to California Adventure (add on of Disneyland) and we went back to Disney with our cousins, James (4) and John (3). It was super fun to see their little faces light up when they saw different characters from Disney movies they had seen.
